As usual, Yoji Shinkawa’s Artbooks are beautiful. This is one of my favorite artist in the video game illutration industry. I’ve always loved his work. He’s an artist who works both with traditionnals and digital methods. I prefer the first one, of course.

In this Artbook, there are a lot of works about Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. This PSP episode of the franchise has been ported to PlayStation 3 in the HD collection of the game. It seems that some of Peace Walker artworks are included into the 1.5 version of The Art Of Metal Gear Solid. I have the version 1.0, so I can confirm that.

By the way, this Artbook is splitted into 6 chapters, and some extra features :

The extra features are dedicated to Yoji Shinkawa’s work environment and credits. Unlike The Art Of Metal Gear Solid 1.0, no text is translated into english. Everything is in japanese. But all works, roughs, final illustrations are awesome. I really love Yoji Shinkawa’s work! I can’t wait to buy the Metal Gear Solid V Artbook!
