Kiyoshi Nagai (also know as Gō Nagai) is a famed manga author. He’s the creator of Great Mazinger or Mazinger Z.

This artbook, slipped into a box, contains a huge amount of artworks. There are some black and white drawings, such as roughs or research works, but the most part of them are in color. It seems that there are also a lot of handmade drawings, with pencils of watercolor. I really enjoy that! This is what I’m looking for in an artbook.

I was surprised to see nude girls drawings in this book. I didn’t know the author for such a kind of work. I even found a very strange borderline nude half-woman/half-wyvern, licked by a monster o_O (I didn’t take it in photo). When I was young, I watched “Goldorak” (UFO Robot Grendizer) and I never saw nude girls. After having read a little bit of Gō Nagai biography on Wikipedia, I saw that his work was censored for nudity, at a certain moment of his professionnal life.

By the way, this book covers a lot of his work, and I don’t even know a big part of it!
