Even if the game is not released yet here in Europe, the first episode was a very good surprise for me. Ok, I was angry at the four of five loop in time you have to do in the game but I really enjoyed the overall Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. Bravely Second, End Layer – Design Works – The Art Of Bravely – 2013-2015 (fiouf, what a long name 🙂 !) is the artbook of the second episode, currently available in Japan, and waiting to be localized for the EU and US markets. The book is as thick as the artbook of the previous Bravely Default, and I love that! Lot of roughs works, final illustrations, research drawings, characters multiple version etc.

The character design is very very close to Flying Fairy, with some of them that look like very close to the previous heroes. I hava no idea of what Bravely Second is about, so I guess there is a reason for that. There are three main parts in the book :

• Bravely Second En Layer (2013-2015);
• Bravely Archive D’s report (2015);
• Special Gallery.
